High prices everywhere

Yikes!
Seriously people, talk about getting burned...
This gas situation is so out of control.
Everywhere, everything has raised prices.
All the everyday things we all need, five dollars or more.

Forget about eating healthy! it cost more to eat healthy,
then to eat fast foods or go out.
Just like the gas, twenty dollars use to fill my tank.
Today, twenty dollars doesn't buy me more than
a bag of lettuce, one tomato, a cucumber, some wraps,
small bag of grapes, cheese.

I saw a guy in the supermarket today,
his basket was more than overflowing, top and bottom.
one small child by his side, and another "newborn" in his arms.
Who knows how many more at home.
Can you imagine that food bill.
Everyone looked on in amazement.
Probably thinking, God bless him, glad it's not me.

It doesn't matter how much money you make, it's the supply and demand
thing.. we just can't keep a good balance.
With these prices, continuing to go up on EVERYTHING!
There will never be a "comfortable" point to be.
So kiss that raise goodbye. Thought you finally had something
extra...ha..
Not going to happen.
