New Year and New Holiday Possibilities...

Hello everyone!

Yesterday was officially the first day of Fall.
I'm loving it!

With the season changing again brings about
other thoughts to start contemplating...

The Holidays have their way of sneaking up on us
really fast.

Perhaps, for some, starting to prepare for the Holiday
Season little by little will relieve the pressure
we put on ourselves that can become overwhelming.
Hence, ruin our holidays. In turn blame the holidays and
become a grinch....

Let's face it, we only have ourselves to blame for that.
Not the holiday's themselves...

Instead of freaking out about what to buy Uncle Tim,
last minute, you're the only one left in the store at midnight,
on Christmas Eve, try changing some of your old habits
and replacing them with some new.

While you have time right now on the weekends or whenever...

Yes, even thinking about Christmas or Thanksgiving right now
seems an overwhelming proposition...
but... an opening for a plenty of time new tactic!

1) Start small while you're relaxed. Jot down a list of those lucky recipients
for your Christmas list

2) Start thinking about those individuals and conversations or particular moments throughout the year that took place with each one. Think about something they mentioned that "if they only had one of those" or "a friend of mine had one and they loved it!"  or even "one of these day's I'll get one..."
Not only will it show that you actually listened to them at that time, but it will show that you put thought into their gift and that you cared enough (not to wait last minute).

3) In another month, prices are going to start skyrocketing! So another reason to
start looking around for those "I remembered what you wanted gifts" at reasonable prices. And before the stores get over crowded with shoppers. You can at some stores put things on layaway if it is still too soon financially to shop.

4) Lock them away in a safe place til Christmas or any other holiday that you celebrate
in the next few months. By putting these very simple tasks underway now, you'll be the relaxing person as we close in on the holidays sipping punch, laughing, actually enjoying yourself for once. No stress, yelling for no reason, wishing the holidays will just be over
kind of person...you just might remember what each holiday is suppose to be about outside of the gift giving. Because you're going to have plenty of relaxed time on your hands now!!!
