Moonlight Tryst
Will you dance with me
in the moonlight
will you gaze into my eyes
and smile until
your hearts delight...
Into my arms
I'll hold you tight
and swirl you lightly
tilting your head just right
We'll dance till our
feet are tender
and no longer
hold us upright...
We'll share this moment
as if it's our last
setting our sights
on future blithe
of times shared
and memories prepared
dancing away
in the moonlight
in the moonlight
will you gaze into my eyes
and smile until
your hearts delight...
Into my arms
I'll hold you tight
and swirl you lightly

Final Suggestions For Halloween Costumes
Hi Guys!
Here's some last minute Halloween Costumes ideas:
With a few days remaining before Halloween Night, I thought
I'd throw out a few more ideas.
Then back to my poetry writing again, I know you can't wait! (lol)
Alright here's a quick list: Use your imagination for materials.
1) Candlestick with flame
2) A cell phone
3) A chair
4) A popcorn vendor (with real popcorn) carry a supply, people will eat it!
5) A book
6) A golden Globe Award
7) Movie Credits (scrolling front)
8) A door with a peephole and knob
9) A fish in a net
10) A candy dispenser/gumball machine (with the real stuff!:-))
These may sound outrageous and over the top ideas, but they can easily be done.
With a little work you can do it! You probably have all the materials you need right at home.
Here's wishing you all a very happy Halloween!!

Halloween costume tips
Tips for making your own Halloween
costumes at home.
Save money and be more creative.
1) First consider what you want to go as.
It can be anything from a person to an object.
It can consist of a "play on words" theme.
Usually, anything you can imagine, you can think
of ways to put a costume together. It is easier than you think.
Example: A basket of yarn-you could build the basket around
your body with you in the middle with a lot of yarn wrapped
around your upper body. Then put other yarn scattered around you inside
the basket. Make a handle out of cardboard or thick rope.
(plastic knitting needles) stuck through the yarn etc.
Make it easy for sitting down, not too wide behind you.
Or use some kind of flexible material that will crush in when you sit,
but not ruin the costume.
2) For any other costumes, you can use items right in your home. Old clothes,
yarn for hair, makeup of course, hats, sheets, other material,
pails, felt squares, canes, kitchen items such as foil, sponges,
towels, gloves, cardboard, paint, netting, a lot of imagination!
feathers, glitter. The main thing to remember is think of the idea first.
The rest will follow automatically with the materials you could use
to create it. Do not think that something is impossible. For the most
part it is not! Put your mind to work and create it.
3) The dollar store is your friend! cheap items can be found there to
help you build your costume. And what you don't find there,
any of your local craft stores will make up for it.
4) These are costumes you can't find in a store! You won't show up at a party
with five other people dressed as the same thing. You'll have a blast when
you see other people's reactions to your costume. They'll envy you for
taking the time to create something awesome and different.
5) Here are some other ideas for costumes:
5a) A mop an pail (for two people)
5b) A light bulb and socket (for two people)
5c) window dressing (play on words...literally or actually dressing
in a window.) IE: create a window around you, hang curtains or appear
to be dressing yourself behind the window. When asked what your suppose
to be, you say window dressing!
5d) A file cabinet with an open drawer
5e) A picture frame
I think you're getting the idea now...think of the possibilities!!
Most importantly! Just have fun! It's not about how well you put it together or not,
it's about being able to get the idea across and having fun with it. Do a little play acting
while you're at it.

Getting ready for Halloween and second thoughts...
Hi guys,
Halloween is coming and all the little
ghosts and goblins will be knocking at your door.
Get your candy ready and take shifts at the door...
What a fun time meant for all. Go ahead and get
dressed in a costume yourself. You're never too old!
I find it funny when kids today 16-22 say their too old
to celebrate Halloween. They have no idea what they're
missing! When I was a kid and well into adulthood, 30-40's
(lol) going to parties fully dressed costumes was the biggest
thing to do. What a blast we all had. Today is so different.
Kids, as we did just want to grow up too fast, however; we grew up
with the traditions of many, even though...but now, today's kids,
for the most part, not all... have totally dismissed so many traditions, and simple
activities that bring such fun to your everyday life.
The experiences and memories for a lifetime!
But what do we know, we weren't cool at all!
(right...) for those who are there with me...
hell, we wrote the book on cool. and life's cycle keeps on turning.
Some of the best parties we had were Halloween parties.
Thinking up the best costumes to blow every one's mind...
and succeeded. It's a shame. It helps build character in oneself.
Just to enjoy every one's ambition and foresight into their designs
and creativity. And although we did enjoy the "spirits" shall we say
at these said parties, we had so much fun you really didn't need it.
Take a look at the link below quick 3 minutes of what Halloween actually meant
and how it derived to today. According to the History Channel.

Restrained From Within
Your eyes
although they peer into me ocean blue
remain empty all the way through...
no trace of words
or emotions shared
iced over and shining clear
You speak of seldom words
not caring how they're heard...
delivering in plain old terms
sounding callous in return...
Withdrawn
inside this tomb of stone
sullenly protecting thee
I wonder if
you're inside out
screaming at me
trying to get out
Release the blocks
that hold you true
are only up to you.

Needing to smell the roses...
This world is moving
much to fast...
technology is rising
the sounds of clicks and clangs
surround
no time to be surprising
Fingertips are met with ease
tapping buttons intermittently
"what color are my eyes you say?"
"I don't know, snap a picture and email me."
When asked
"what's going on in the world you see?"
responses downloaded
faster than speed...
Making it easy
has dominated indeed...
"Just because we could,
doesn't mean we should."
This world is moving
beyond astronomical needs
although to inspire
and succeed to our pleas
we're open to fire
unexpectedly...
When all is said and done
and catastrophe has come
we will be glad of
all the world
and the knowledge proclaimed to some
but if all we needed
were some spoken words
and time we all seem to shun.

Tuning into my visions...
My visions are
internally changing
no longer do I dream
of hopes to come and
ventures to my deserving...
I feel inside
all bottled up
caught between a border
Of one side
my sights can see
destinies I've fought to be
evoking my thoughts
into clarity
seems senseless
even though pragmatically...
As the other side
is enveloping me
slowly creeping into stream
battles brewing all around
lust and trust
are cradling...
I feel inside
while standing idol...
the realms of safety
clattering by...
my visions are portraying.

To my readers...
Hi guys,
I have placed these "Free Books" on my site
for a couple of reasons.
1) I did not want to leave my blog "Empty"
anymore, should I not be able to write for any given
period of time again, rather than just leaving it blank,
as it has happened in the past.
These books are set up to run daily, especially when I can't.
That was a plus for me! At least they stay current and keep
the blog running with fresh content when I can't.
They are very worth the reading, and they are really free.
In no way were they meant to "Over Load" or take over.
I do not wish for my readers to feel that way. (should you feel that way)...
I just didn't want to screw up again and leave my blog
without any fresh content (should something happen)
and I can't write for awhile, as before. Not that I'm counting on it,
but I wanted to be prepared this time.
I didn't want to leave you guys hanging anymore without some
kind of fresh content when I can't. Because you always show up
even when I don't. This was my first and most important reason
why I added them.
2) They are connected to an affiliate program as well.
But they truly are a "Free Book". You do not have to pay for it
at all. It's only by choice if something interests the reader
inside the book "to buy" any product. pertaining
to the book it self. Just as if you purchased a magazine somewhere
and found something you wanted to buy on the inside. It's not mandatory
or a scam of any kind, it was because you wanted it.
In this case, the "book" is free no matter what. And it is worth it.
So please do enjoy them without hesitation. If there are enough
people that do not like them on my blog and you think it takes away
from my writings etc., please leave a comment and let me know. If I find that a lot
of people do not like them here at Visions, I will consider taking them down.
The interest of my readers comes first to me.

Looking up- Fall Tree in golden
Looking up!
How cool is this guys...
I hope you can see the beauty in this the same way I did when I took it. Experiencing Fall from a different perspective.
It was a beautiful fall night resting my head on my husband's lap on a park bench looking up.
I knew I had to take these pictures. Fall at it's best. I hope you enjoy!!

Denied Resurrection
Remember what you have now
the people in which you
surround yourself
will they be your friends forever
Will they stay when you
age on into life
will they be gone...
and have left you all alone
You can move
but will they follow
will they get involved
in day to day
and forget you won't
be here tomorrow
Making new friends
is tough to swallow
when age has
moved you forward...
it's not as readily
as it once was before
drowning in much more
sorrow...
People stay inside their clicks
and build a wall to falter
allowing in anyone new
is simply not a ponder.

Take a moment out to appreciate life
For those of you who did not see these photos online a few months back, check this out!
I do not remember the details such as where this was taken etc. But I do remember that this boy couldn't have been more than thirteen years old. This little fawn was drowning in some deep rising waters and he just had to save him, even at the risk of his own life.
If I recall correctly, this happens quite frequently where ever this was. Baby animals are always being saved there from drowning. It was written that this boy was a very good swimmer and had no cause to fear his own life in the deep waters, as you can see.
I found that the pictures were from HASIB WAHAB/CATERS NEWS. In no way are they mine nor do I take claim to them. Just sharing. How awesome is this!!!
It doesn't get much better than this in our world of animal saving. Of life saving! I thought we all could use a little break, a small moment in our lives to remember that life is important. With all the recklessness of life that is plaguing our countries right now, well let's just say...we need to remember what life is all about for each and everyone of us and all creatures. It may be a small moment and most will probably dismiss this for it's worth, but it matters, it counts, perhaps we can all grow from here.
What an incredibly brave boy! And what a cutie fawn! Hopefully he'll make it through the duration of it's life now before he get's hunted next. Some is a natural part of his life...
and well...the other isn't.
Such a fragile little thing. And shocked I bet. No mother to be found. Or should I say no parent to be found. I guess this little boy is for now. And a good one he'll be.
Again, these photos are the property of HASIB WAHAB/CATERS NEWS. They were shown on the internet news. They are not mine, nor do I have any rights to them whatsoever. I merely copied them to share them.

Closed Expectations
I guess you're wondering
why I haven't called
thinking it was a bust
somehow I failed
to witness your exquisiteness...
By now you're assuming
I lost interest or never had it
at all...
Yet you still sit
and await a phone call
that perhaps will never come...
I have been the main concern
that weighs heavy on your mind
distracting you from your work
and ignoring all your friends...
Making sure the line is free
checking to ensure it's validity
consumed by all the possibilities
your mind has created
for reasoning...
At last
for whatever reason deemed...
you have chosen to move on
wondering what could have been
haunts you no longer more.

I didn't know your name...
You are the reason I am here
this chosen path
in which I travel
The decisions I have made
have led me straight
to you
This I am aware
as each day that passes
with a subtle
reassurance
that claims my heart
in silence...
You have my back
when I cannot see...
and walk beside me
not leading me...
Your presence
completes me
in a secure and unconditional way
I was led here
to you...
through obstacles
creating my delay
and although I have stumbled
many times in dismay...
God has raised me
and guided me your way.

The silent killer....
Stress is the number one killer!
We do not even realize half of the ways
it applies to us in our every day.
Especially for women.
Arguing with someone.
Worrying about bills, working outside the house
then coming home to clean the house, cook dinner etc.
Making sure that kids have completed their homework,
cleaned their rooms. Making sure all appointments are met,
and getting everyone to them...on time.
Stress is even more difficult for men.
Men tend to keep everything inside.
They "think" that they have to stay strong for
their families and not let them know you're
worried about money, you lost your job...
wishing that you would cut down on your spending,
but they won't dare ask you to. At least not more than once.
"They meant it the first time...."
Yes, stress can sneak up on you without you realizing.
Raise your blood pressure, give you a heart attack.
All of which come suddenly.
No warning!
And let's not be fooled by the "I'm in excellent health"
syndrome. I'm young, I don't have to worry about
heart attacks or blood pressure. Not true anymore!
30's, 40's are not to young to have a heart attack
these days.
It is easier said than done!
But with that being said, let's try to be more aware
how stress can effect us in our daily lives.
Make some changes diet and otherwise, to start taking control!
When you want to raise your voice, count to ten...
Don't bare all the weight on your shoulders alone! Talk...
And remember, especially with the holidays approaching,
you do what you can, not what you think you have to...
Give kids more credit, they'll understand if you explain
you can't get them "everything" they're asking for...
It is more important that you're all together, especially these days.
Besides, they won't change if you don't make those changes.
Then it becomes a "common" thing to expect...
Last but certainly not least...I need you all here to read my blog!!
What would I do without you all!!

New Year and New Holiday Possibilities...
Hello everyone!
Yesterday was officially the first day of Fall.
I'm loving it!
With the season changing again brings about
other thoughts to start contemplating...
The Holidays have their way of sneaking up on us
really fast.
Perhaps, for some, starting to prepare for the Holiday
Season little by little will relieve the pressure
we put on ourselves that can become overwhelming.
Hence, ruin our holidays. In turn blame the holidays and
become a grinch....
Let's face it, we only have ourselves to blame for that.
Not the holiday's themselves...
Instead of freaking out about what to buy Uncle Tim,
last minute, you're the only one left in the store at midnight,
on Christmas Eve, try changing some of your old habits
and replacing them with some new.
While you have time right now on the weekends or whenever...
Yes, even thinking about Christmas or Thanksgiving right now
seems an overwhelming proposition...
but... an opening for a plenty of time new tactic!
1) Start small while you're relaxed. Jot down a list of those lucky recipients
for your Christmas list
2) Start thinking about those individuals and conversations or particular moments throughout the year that took place with each one. Think about something they mentioned that "if they only had one of those" or "a friend of mine had one and they loved it!" or even "one of these day's I'll get one..."
Not only will it show that you actually listened to them at that time, but it will show that you put thought into their gift and that you cared enough (not to wait last minute).
3) In another month, prices are going to start skyrocketing! So another reason to
start looking around for those "I remembered what you wanted gifts" at reasonable prices. And before the stores get over crowded with shoppers. You can at some stores put things on layaway if it is still too soon financially to shop.
4) Lock them away in a safe place til Christmas or any other holiday that you celebrate
in the next few months. By putting these very simple tasks underway now, you'll be the relaxing person as we close in on the holidays sipping punch, laughing, actually enjoying yourself for once. No stress, yelling for no reason, wishing the holidays will just be over
kind of person...you just might remember what each holiday is suppose to be about outside of the gift giving. Because you're going to have plenty of relaxed time on your hands now!!!

Every where we turn
Traces of a
humanity where
pride once graced our land
has permeated tremendously
through hatred and despair
An appreciation
for human life is now
profoundly lacking
Our day to days
remain peaceful
unassailable for some
that life is in it's glory
no changes yet to come...
For those who
are not as lucky
disaster forebodes...
across the nation and our seas
doom is hanging low
Life is for
the living
and soon they'll
be no more
the fight for power
diminishes
between failure and deplore
This world
we all call home
is paramount to all
inside it lies it's villagers
needing to debauch
deceiving it as power
will exploit it all away...
the end of the world
as we know it
will leave barely a trace...

Manipulation denied
You have come here
not knowing what
you'd find
but a man
broken
tortured by the lies...
You have come here
not knowing what
you seek
to find a man
who's
suitable
to fit your every needs...
You have come here
Not knowing how
you'd leave
But a man
who's not accustomed
to deceit
will kindly ask you
please
to leave.
