I have made wishes
throughout the years
the annual birthdays
water wells and shooting
stars...
I have crossed my fingers
and hoped to God...
I have searched valleys
and higher ground
I have flown to there
and drove from here
And nowhere
nowhere, are the
answers I seek
I've forgotten
the path in which
I've taken
I've forgotten the reasons
in which I persevered
I only remain
reluctantly here.
