Fall is upon us
and the change's it brings
golds, reds and oranges
painting the view
as it blends...
It appears to arrive earlier
with each passing year
Richer in color
and standing out so clear...
I feel like I blinked
and now the trees are bare
like clothes that we add
they shed their's in air...
Yes this is Fall
we all can declare!
colors and all
will soon disappear.

Bessye, What I love most about your poetry is that you have mastered the art of using meter and rhyme without it sounding like a hallmark amateur verse. So many people write that style without any imagery and it just sounds trite.
