Always... seems to fade away

Fall is here!

Fall is upon us
and the change's it brings
golds, reds and oranges
painting the view
as it blends...

It appears to arrive earlier
with each passing year
Richer in color
and standing out so clear...

I feel like I blinked
and now the trees are bare
like clothes that we add
they shed their's in air...

Yes this is Fall
we all can declare!
colors and all
will soon disappear.

Life without Fairytales

It wasn't at all
what I had imagined
preconceived or unprecedented

Proceeding through life
as though it was a given
anticipating a magnitude
beyond my wildest dreams

When falling from the clouds
so high...
not as soft as a pillow implies...
life hit me hard
and sent me spinning

Clearly, it was up to me
whether I sat there and cried
or gave it another try
For reality was not waiting for me.

Only as far as Hope will take you

I have made wishes
throughout the years
the annual birthdays
water wells and shooting
stars...

I have crossed my fingers
and hoped to God...

I have searched valleys
and higher ground
I have flown to there
and drove from here

And nowhere
nowhere, are the
answers I seek
I've forgotten
the path in which
I've taken
I've forgotten the reasons
in which I persevered
I only remain
reluctantly here.

Waiting for my Ship to come in....

By the water's edge
vastly in hues of blue
are ushering in
rippled waves
cascading into my shoes

I peer out
as if to see
an awaited vessel
coming for me

Mistaken me not
though it's later
than it seems...

The vacant waters
appear blankly distant
no end that I can see...
another day passes
and there's still only me.

Fortuitous

I found myself
standing,
In what appeared
to be, the center of a
misplaced dream

Time was of the future
as my presence
wasn't seen...

A matrix
swirling with colors
imaginable to me

I swung around
with my arms opened wide
encapsulating
intoxicating time

Never before
had this reception
been opened to me
I wonder if this
is where my end will be.

Relaying seasons

The air has cooled down
the season has set forth changing
it claims the time infringed
upon us
of specified limits
rotation applies

Mind sets
adjusting accordingly
lacking the speed
we processed previously

Entanglements
happening so soon
we rush about wishing it
was June...

Significant
though it be true
it appears we're out of tune.

Well we are saying good-bye
to Summer this weekend.
I hope that all of you are enjoying this
Holiday weekend. I'm using it to get

But it really wasn't much of a summer
weather wise this season anyway.
