Across the desert's sand
unbearable the heat
at the sun's command
Delirious
as I stretch out my hand
tasting the water
nothing more than
salted sand
My feet are blistered
cracked
I cannot stand
Along comes a lizard
moving faster
than this man...
Survival of the fittest
insurmountable
for sure.
