Inevitable traits

When we are aging,
we lose sight of reality...
Or rather, reality consumes us.

There's no room for bullshit,
we want things solved today,
for tomorrow or the next,
go beyond just another day...

We have no tolerance,
for the incapable,
we strike out,
at the contempible,
we can't stand the pain.

We don't look at the world as,
what's ahead,
we look at the world with
how it's going to end...

We plan for our demise,
we saved for our lives,
we regret sometimes...
now we lie down to die.
