You know, when I was a kid...
bullying meant;
that a kid couldn't sit at a lunch table with you,
they stole your lunch money,
gave you a wedgie, put you in a locker...
And none of that was acceptable!
Then...
And compared to today's bullies,
that was a walk in the park....
but wrong just the same.
Today with all the technology we have,
with all the sports and activities,
concerts, theaters, cars,
school trip extravaganza's
not like when I was a kid...
how can they be bored?
how can they not have enough to do?
Do those who taunt feel popular?
seeking attention, deterring attention
from someone else...
A release of anger out of fear...
no intent due the sufferer
or becoming just as hard as
what's familiar...
a way to cope by mimicking
Once where there was pity,
when I was a kid...
befriending the outcast
everyone needs a chance at something...
no longer lingers...
extreme incapability's fathomless
mind sets
pushing one's study
to the brink of death?
shaming for the world to see...
You'll never have that right, but they'll
be judged you'll see
Bully's lack of strength and confidence
that flee...
we make avenues for them to see
that it's okay to beat on you and me.
it's time we change this I plead!

in my bowl of cheerios, my morning coffee cup,

My stomach aches and falls apart
when remembering everything about you
When every Tuesday comes around
I sit and wait, looking at the clock,
thinking you're still going to call me.
I anxiously wait... knowing it isn't coming
and a lump rises in my throat
and tears are soon to follow...
You were my anchor
in my times of need
and I was your source
to unload on
when things were out of control
together we talked our way through it
laughing by the time we hung up...
I shall miss you
in all my days to come
whatever they may be
I can never quite get over
that you're not here with me...

Yeah, it's an apology yet again...
You wouldn't believe my ordeal if I told you.
Trying to get back on my blog was like trying to swim in mud.
Although everyone was very helpful as usual, it just took forever!
Mostly I had to figure it all out myself, but I got here.
If there's another delay it will be because I didn't do something right and I just ended up here by a freak accident while trying to figure things out.
That's what I get for letting it lapse again, this time too long.
I'm back! I think you guys keep coming back because
I'm such a screw up, but I keep apologizing. I don't mean to screw up,
it's not on purpose, it's my life now and time restraints.
But I am blessed with your continuous patronage
to my site and I am so very grateful to all of you!!!
I'm so glad I didn't lose my blog!!!
And I am especially glad that you didn't give up on me
for almost a year of absence.
You have no idea how happy this makes me!
Keep your fingers crossed that I will be able to sign back in again (lol)

I just realized how much I miss this blog and writing out to all of you.
I guess I don't see my viewers as passers by, I see you as part of a huge circle of friends.

Although I sit here
and try not to think of you

from the visual compromise
on levels that exceed my
commitment

Upon us Fall
The transformations
are taking place
slowly, not every place...

I'm watching you watching me...
When I look through this aquarium,
I sometimes wonder what it is you're thinking,
looking back at me...
Who is it that is the entertainment
for all around to see
passers by fluctuating
by size and peering eyes.
It seems safe
for the glass that lies between us
a wall of see through matter
composing a barrier
that separates one world from another...
It appears effortlessly to breathe
I can barely see
I don't know quite how you do it
but your comfortable indeed.
When I look through this aquarium
the view is plentiful
sometimes there's more than one of us
gasping at what we see

diving into your own dreams.
