Tunnel Vision

Sometimes the ticking of the talk
erases clarity throughout
my thoughts...

Confused and dazed
I shuffle about
managing tasks of
mindless aims...

Sometimes the ticking of the talk
reminds me there's a lesson taught
focus on the task at hand
forget about the chattering plans

Sometimes when there is plenty
to say
controlling your steps
are the course you should pave.

Burrrrr.....

I'm sitting here freezing....
thinking of Spring
basking in the heat of
the sunshine
planting my flowers

So close, yet so far away
as I am chilled to the bone
contemplating another heat source
while I type away...

Part of me is glad
that I need time to sort my way...
close out the Old Year
before the New takes it's claim!

There's an Island
calling out my name...
changing residence
might be my new campaign.

When Time Runs Out..

I think of all the times
I knew...
that what you chose
to tell me
wasn't true...

I couldn't face
that my heart was
compromised...
Better to know the Truth
that breaks us apart
than the lies that bond us...

I think of all the times
I knew...
that emptiness
that I'd been screwed...

How hard it was
to watch the smile
that plastered your face
with untold grace

I think of the time
I shut the door
and walked away
I knew this scorn
would resemble
my everyday...

A different point of view....

I can see beyond the squint
of my eyes
thinly focusing
upon the images before me

Preventing my sight
of clarity
skims across a veil of film

I cannot speak
I don't know how...

When I was inbound
I was big with just me...
Now all around me
giants prevail
and their poking at me

When out of the blue
I screamed out loud!
someone has slapped me
from the bottom of my crown...

Congratulations!
you have a son...
and into my mothers arms
they placed me...

Unrecognizable, but certainly undeniable

I have seen
the passing of flowers bloomed
I have seen
recurring seasons change its' tune...
I have seen
my friends of times gone by...
I often wonder where am I...

When I look in the mirror
I see my face
it certainly got misplaced...
it appears to resemble
someone else
I can't remember
I've lost the trace...

I value the time
I live today...
for each is a passing day
at speeds that seem
to accelerate
I record it all along the way...

It seems disruptive
although I'll say...
all this time
I thought I could play...
and now...I can only pray.

I have Become....

I have exceeded
my estimated well laid out plans
without thought of 'added'
activity behind the scenes
of an offshore land...

Waiting and waiting
not by my command
has threatened my threshold
of patience and unmasked
demands...

It's only the beginning
preparing for calamity
breaking down my doors
seems mildly
unconscionable...

For I have
executed
down to the moment
when I take them off guard
how well I perceived
and made bread from their crumbs...

They're Back! I'm Back! hope your Back!

Hi my friends!

Whew! it has been a long journey...
I have been out in search of my 'Little Friends"
the fish left my blog awhile ago for a second time,
and I just had to find them!

Time has flown by already into this
New Year..I didn't realize that I was gone for
so long.
They're not easy to catch these little guys...

But I'm back! and so are my little friends!
Thanks goes out to the people, and you know
who you are that rescued them yet again!

Everyone has become so attached to them.

Well, New Year and the race begins!
So much to do in so little time...
I just 'Do' right now, I can't even 'think straight'
But it will come together my friends..
It's always a challenge, keeps the blood flowing!
The first couple of weeks is always crazy for
everyone.
I'll be back!

Hello Everyone!

Just wanted to wish everyone a
Happy Holiday Season!
As always, I hope that you all have a
warm place to go and friends and
family to share it with.

For those of you who have no one,
please remember there is someone
out there somewhere who is thinking
of you. They may not know you personally
but their wishes for a warm and safe
Holiday are with you. It is a very difficult
time for a lot of us, for many reasons.

Let's not forget the spirit of Christmas
for those who celebrate it, or for any other
Holiday others may celebrate at this
time of year. Don't get all lost in the hustle
and bustle of things. The gift buying etc.
Stress can be yours and others worse enemy.
And for what? time still goes by, it stands still
for no one right? a new day will take place of
this one and the next...

So remember my friends out there...
we all wish we had more, and some just wish
they had some, but we all share a common
thread, we wish everyone a healthy life
instead!

My thoughts are with all of you!

right where it is like before...

please direct them back home where they
belong.

They'll be starving I'm sure...
hanging around in a pack, no that's for dogs..
a swarm, no that's for bees' well whatever!

If not for the whisper
of the leaves in mid air
my consciousness
would have missed

Without a sound
of your breathing
nor a sight for my eyes
to lay upon
I would have missed
the message you gave me

As I peer out into
the sky so blue
listening while nature
speaks to me...
carrying the words
as commanded by you
I suddenly feel contented.

Seasonal Changes

I sat by my window
as the first snow approached
a flake at a time
came tumbling by...

Before I knew it
a blistering swirl
accumulated
into a flurry...

The first snow
is always exciting
another year we've
made it through

Holidays approaching
the end will soon
draw near...

Back to reality
anxiously we prepare
the rush of the season
is now dreaded in fear.

There is no Purpose....

I have tried to reason
I have tried to meet half way
I have tried opening a door
for you to step through...

But pride has stifled
your voice to appear...
Stubbornness has averted
your common sense
your ability to move on

Without a care
you have lost...
without a second thought
you have missed
without compromise
you have nothing.
