The last tango

The long nights
I stare into nowhere
waiting for sleep
to carry me away

I am restless
with despair
that I will stay this way
while sleep evades
the time to come

My mind has been to everywhere
places and thoughts
I've never dreamed...
Keeping me here imprisoned
behind these eyes of fear.

To clear the air...

If your not happy..
why don't you say so,
If you loathe me
tell me...

Why are the eyes
of placid,
so bitterly displayed?

If it's you that requires
change...
explanation of protesting
are thou...

Where you became lost,
I have become betrayed..
falsely gathered are
the lies that stay.

Amongst the webs
you've weaved today,
will never satisfy
your game of play.

Growing old...

I waited until the lights
went low
the candle flame
represented my glow
it was not all of me
I wanted thee to see...

In spite of what your
eyes perceive,
gravity has set me free..

You love me from remembrance
how things use to be
for in your mind
I'll always be
the desire of your dreams.

I meant to say....

If I were accustom
to this acknowledgement
would I not shine and gleam
with utter joy?

If I were accustom
to this display of affection
would I not share
and return to another?

If I were to retire
for evening gathered,
would I not rest
without regrets?

If this was known
to be of common
neither you nor I,
would struggle
to comply.

Easter 2009

Hello everyone! Happy Easter!

This use to be one of my favorite
Holidays as a kid. How much fun
we use to have going on Easter egg hunts.
I hope lots of you will be doing the
same for your kids or friends kids etc.
It's something they never forget!
It's so worth it.

I'm wishing all my readers a
Wonderful Happy Easter to all!
As usual, I will be thinking of all of you.
Hoping that your with friends and family.

I think some of you have given up on me.
Rightfully so I guess...I haven't been updating on a
daily basis as I use to do.
I can only hope that I gain your respect
and patronage back again.
Life's been crazy for me, health and otherwise...
